Dame Juliana Anglers DJA was founded March 1998. We are an informal group bring women anglers together to fish, socialize, learn about other women’s fly fishing groups in other areas, organize fly fishing and fly tying classes and trips, and generally have an enjoyable time. Our club promotes conservation, environmental issues, habitat improvement, and catch & release. We strongly support Casting For Recovery and offer women’s seminars with women instructors; outings for women only; conservation projects; and other great activities.
Sisters On The Fly Our Club has 206 members. Every year we are busy creating fun trips. Our members arrive at the destination in their special decorated trailers. Sometimes we do day trips and fly into a remote lake for a great day of fly-fishing, then fly back to camp to stay in our trailers. We have a gourmet cook who prepares a fabulous meal for us while we sip on a glass of wine. We have a brochure and check out our website for more details.
Damsel Flyfishers Our club originated Jan. 1997. Fly Fishing Foxes Golden West Women Fly Fishers GWWF Yahoo Group www.groups.yahoo.com/group/gwwf GWWFF is the most exciting club in San Francisco! We started out in 1983 as two friends getting together to start a club, and now we have about 150 women who meet and FLY FISH! On the second Tuesday of every month (except July and August), we meet to exchange fishing stories and ideas, and to learn from one another and experts who are invited to do programs and spend a very social and congenial evening. We have several fishing outings a month during the fishing season. We also have several conservation projects like the urban in-school aquatic program.
Shasta Mayflies Our Club was founded in April 2000. The purpose of the Shasta Mayflies is to encourage women’s awareness of fly-fishing as a sport; to improve our skills as anglers through fellowship and a friendly exchange of casting, catching and releasing techniques; to promote and encourage youth, physically challenged, and senior fly-fishing anglers; to function as an effective link with other groups in the community; and to encourage conservation of resources. Our membership skill level ranges from women who have never fished to those with a lot of fishing mileage behind them. While the Shasta Mayflies is a woman-oriented club, men and families are welcomed.
The Ladybugs Fly Fishing Club The mission of the Ladybugs Fly Fishing Club is to promote the art and excitement of fly-fishing and the concept of catch and release. Planned events: fishing trips (local and afar), fly fishing lessons, guest speakers, fly tying lessons, slide show events and monthly meetings.
Colorado Women Flyfishers (Members in FL, IN, NM, OH and WY) CWF is a sociable organization for women who fly fish. The purpose of CWF is to fish, have fun and enjoy the camaraderie of other women who delight in the sport of fly-fishing. While not intended primarily as a “learn to fish” club, CWF welcomes all ability levels, and offers a supportive environment wherein every member can improve her fly-fishing knowledge and skills. The DVWFFA serves women anglers throughout the mid-Atlantic region. Our
mission: Is to promote the sport of fly-fishing among women; To provide a
means for women fly fishers to meet, network, and fish together; To create a
friendly and supportive environment in which women new to the sport can
learn and grow; and, To give experienced women anglers a rewarding
opportunity to mentor novices. Our activities include both day and
overnight fishing trips, a variety of educational programs, social events,
and publication of a quarterly newsletter.
The Bonefish Bonnies The Bonnies are a club of Ocean Reef members dedicated to learning more about flats fishing and having fun in the process. We have two fishing days and a luncheon with a speaker each month. In addition, we hold two tournaments a year: one a serious Bonefish Tournament, and the other a “No-Rules” Tournament, where you gain points for catching anything (except your guide) by any means. Additional points for best lunch, and best dressed, etc.
Georgia Women Flyfishers (Members in AL, FL, GA, NC, SC & Puerto Rico) GWFF’s mission is to introduce women into the sport of fly-fishing in a supportive, non-competitive environment, and to fish and have fun. We hold Casting for Confidence, our own clinic for breast cancer survivors, participate in Woodsy Women and Unicoi Outdoor Adventure Day in Georgia, participate in Atlanta Fly-Fishing festival, FFF Southeastern Conclave, and hold numerous fly-fishing and fly tying clinics for our members. We also team up with other fly-fishing organizations around Georgia and hold kid’s fishing clinics and river restoration days. Women Flyfishers of Idaho (WFFI) WFFID founded in 1996. We are a non-profit organization that strives to provide a forum for women fly fishers of all levels to increase their knowledge, experience and pleasure in the sport of fly-fishing.

The River Runners Women’s Fly Fishing Club We welcome you to The River Runner’s Women’s Fly Fishing Club! The RRWFC was founded on April 26, 2008 in Branson, Missouri by twelve charter members representing Arkansas, Kansas, Missouri, and Oklahoma. Our mission is to make a connection with other women who share a love of fly-fishing to have fun, create new friendships and lasting memories. The highlight of our activities is the fishing trips! We plan to get together once every quarter at different locations throughout the region to explore new waters. We are all anxious to have other women from around this part of the country who also shares a love of fly-fishing join us and have fun, and create new friendships and lasting memories.
Chesapeake Women Anglers We are a premier fly-fishing club serving the Chesapeake Bay area dedicated to promoting fly fishing for women through education, clinics and fishing trips. We have 160 members from seven states and the District of Columbia. Chesapeake Women Anglers was founded in 1994. Our members receive quarterly newsletters with informative articles as well as the scheduled events for the year, regular emails and member roster to use as a “fishing buddy guide”. We often partner with other organizations like Trout Unlimited and The Isaak Walton League. We are involved in a National program called Casting for Recovery. This program promotes fly-fishing for women who are recovering from breast cancer.

Flygirls of Michigan Activities: Networking, fishing outings, learning events (casting, fly tying entomology, rod building), newsletter, breast cancer recovery retreats, mentoring young female anglers. Mission: To provide a forum for education, fishing and stewardship for women through the sport of fly-fishing.
Fly Fishing Women of Minnesota Established in 2003, FFWM provides women of all ages the opportunity to participate in the sport of fly-fishing through activities and education. We welcome women of all fly-fishing skill levels as well as their families and significant others. Our Mission: To promote personal enrichment for women through fly-fishing education and experiences. We do this by enhancing camaraderie with like-minded women. We also provide opportunities to learn in a supportive environment from enthusiastic peers; promoting conservation through fly-fishing activities; and developing strong role models through fly-fishing activities; and developing strong role models through community involvement.
Sierra Nevada Women Fly Fisher (SNWFF) The Sierra Nevada Women Fly Fishers meet every third Thursday in the evenings once a month. Our Mission: To encourage, support, educate and connect women interested and/or currently involved in the sport of fly-fishing; To become involved in local habitat conservation and restoration projects.

Women On The Fly WOTF is a resource for women interested in fly-fishing. We take trips to the rivers in the NC and Tennessee mountains and other destinations.
Stonefly Maidens The Stonefly Maidens is Portland's first women's fly-fishing club. Our mission is to create opportunities, encourage, educate and mentor women's participation in the sport of fly fishing. Our goal is to bring women together who share a love of fly-fishing and the beauty of nature to create friendships and lasting memories. We meet once a month and fish as a group roughly 10 times/year. We hold an annual Free Women's casting clinic in June. Reelladies Reelladies was started in early 2000 to promote fly-fishing for women in a non-competitive atmosphere where women help women.
Northwest Women Flyfishers NWF was formed in 1988 in Seattle, WA. We promote and encourage women in the sport of fly-fishing and to advocate for healthy fisheries. There are monthly meetings with informative programs and guest speakers, a monthly newsletter and a variety of outings for our 150 members. Our club also offers opportunities to participate in a variety of educational and conservation activities and we have an active online community.
Women Fly Fishing Fabienne Demarcin began WFF in Belgium April 19, 2002. Fly-fishing is her passion hence she wanted to give other women a place to begin their fly-fishing experience. Fabienne has been in the sport of fly-fishing for 18 years and has produced a 20 minute video. Calgary, Alberta
