Hѐritage de IWFF; a site to visit faces of younger and older women anglers gracing IWFF website with their smiles.

Can you see yourself on this wall of the present and the future? We come to fish but it is about so much more, as we take our rod in hand and greet and meet women around the world in the sport we call Fly-Fishing.Join this Hѐritage de IWFF website by submitting a fly fishing picture (with permission for IWFF to use), with your first name, a line or 2 of information about the photo - where the fish was caught, on what fly, on what river/lake/stream/ocean, and the State or Country where the photo was taken all in your native language. Watch this website as we globally join hands in the sport we call fly fishing as we come together to share, learn, teach and heal.

Linden, The Future Fly Fisher Woman’s Secret Weapon

Translation:  English by her Father Jack

Consent given by: Father Jack and Linden

Whether it's fishing bass at an urban pond or fly fishing for native trout, Linden just flat catches fish! She has been fly fishing for two years since she was 7 years old. She is extremely independent as Linden insists on hooking and fighting her own fish.  Persistence may be Linden's secret weapon - if she is sight fishing a fish, she works the fish until she entices it to the hook. Linden loves a challenge.  Her latest request is, “Dad get me an 8-weight so I can fish for those giant carp”.

Emmie, The Future Face of the Fly Fisher Woman

Club:  Recently joined IWFF

Translation:  English by her Father Michael

Consent given by: Father Michael and Emmie

“Emmie is 9 years old and has been fly fishing since about 5 years old.  She loves fishing Woods Canyon Lake, and Silver Creek (in Arizona) where she had her first real success on a fly rod.  Emmie and her brother enjoyed participating in the stocking of Silver Creek on the first day of catch and release.”

“Emmie has started to learn to tie flies, ‘but only ones that have pink in them.’  Emmie has also developed a good set of stream eyes and looks for little bugs along the waters edge.”  An International Woman Fly Fisher face of the future!
