We are standing in a doorway--Rendezvous 2006 is behind us and Rendezvous 2007 is before us.

A few final words about Rendezvous 2006. Thanks again to each and every one of you for your contributions to the Rendezvous—marketing, creating flyers, meal planning, getting and/or donating goody bag items, making name tags, shopping, preparing/setting up and/or cooking meals, doing dishes, recycling, taking photographs, sharing food , drinks and flies, driving to the rivers, giving presentations on fishing and entomology, teaching on-the-water clinics, taking notes, sharing your fishing knowledge and techniques…the list could go on and on. As we close this 2006 Rendezvous chapter, thanks to Tina Vieira and Glenda Smith who will create a digital "photo album" of the weekend's activities. If you have photographs you wish to add to the album, please email Tina or Glenda. Thanks, also, to Susan Bostwick who will write an article about the Rendezvous for the IWFF Newsletter.

AND NOW, on to Rendezvous 2007! Jennifer Dunn and Taylor Gehweiler have volunteered to organize next year's Rendezvous, to be held at the Mount Shasta Ranch Bed & Breakfast on June 28 through July 1, 2007. Other members of the organizing committee are Chrissie Clapp, Susan Bostwick, Elaine Almquist, Lori Phillips and Susan Baer. Jennifer has the Rendezvous "wine glass collection" and Chrissie is already looking for goody bag items (if you see any "fishy" items in your travels during the coming year, let Chrissie know). If any others of you (upon reflection) have decided that you wish to be a part of the 2007 Rendezvous organizing committee, please contact Jennifer or Taylor.
